Reformatting on MyBlogs:
During this class, we learned how to create our MyBlogs and reformatting. We were taught everything step by step which helped me understand what to do and how to do it. It was straightforward on what to do and how to personalize MyBlog because when learning how to do the basics I knew I wanted to create a blog with uniqueness. When making MyBlog editing wasn’t too hard it took me a while to get the hang of it all but it eventually worked out. My time management during the class went pretty fast because this class went faster than I thought. I worked as fast as I could because I didn’t want to work on it later on. I didn’t get to finish MyBlog because I was trying to personalize it and make it look aesthetically pleasing but I did do my work. I would say one of my limitations when working is plugging in my work because I didn’t scan all the pages I’ve made over the break but I knew scanning wouldn’t take too long.
Introduction to SketchUp:
In this class we were taught a new software which is called SketchUp, I would say I would complete the task well but it took me a while to get used to everything new. I enjoy making the building and the lemon. It was fun. Working on my own went well but I did have to ask for some help because I couldn’t find certain buttons but everything went well. I would say what I would do differently if I were to do it next time is to practice my SketchUp skills. I was able to adapt to SketchUp but it challenged how I was used to PhotoShop and Allustaiter but it’s great that I learned a new skill on a new software. I almost completed my task during class but making the second portion of the work took longer than expected. I knew I would be able to finish my work the next day.
CAD Drawing:
When I was in this class we did CAD drawings similar to ToolBox so this was easy for me to do during class. I completed this task very well because I was used to making CAD’s in the first term so I did well during this class. Working on my own was easy but the only thing I had to ask Sing about is how could I transfer my textiles to my CAD which was easy for me when helped. I enjoyed this class because I knew what to do and how to do it. I would say one of my limitations would be not having an illustration because I haven’t yet done them but I still did use one of my textured textiles instead which all worked out in the end. Not having an illustration would be the only thing I would have changed because it would have been a new experience and skill to do while in class.
Finalising Blogs and Portfolio:
When I was in this class I did enjoy it a lot I could use my time doing anything I needed to finalize and had the opportunity to still ask Sing for help if I needed it. The task that prioritized during this class was to do my PPD writing and try to write as much as I could. I would say I was a bit behind on writing my PPDs in certain classes. I also took the time to personalize MyBlog because when I first knew that we were making a website I just had to prioritize making MyBlog look fun and have its individuality, that’s what a did during my last class in Adobe. The thing I need to follow up on as a result of this session would be finalizing everything I have to do like creating more textiles, scanning new pages, and adding more natural elements within my work. I set a lot of goals for myself which I want to complete and I know I’ll be attaining that.
